Dr. Malcolm Brigden
Senior Medical Oncologist
For the past seven years, Dr. Malcolm Brigden has been senior medical oncologist at the Jack Ady Cancer Program in Lethbridge, Alberta, Dr, Malcolm is an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Calgary, as well. Dr. Brigden received his medical degree from McGill University and pursued postgraduate training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. Dr. Malcolm also has a master’s degree in biophysics from the University British Columbia.
Dr. Brigden’s professional practice in Lethbridge Alberta includes the full spectrum of solid tumors as well as backup in malignant hematology. For several weeks of each year, Dr. Malcolm also helps to manage the medical oncology/malignant hematology program at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Prince County Hospital in Prince Edward Island.
Dr. Brigden has previously worked in British Columbia, Ontario and the Maritimes. He served as a locum visiting consultant overseas in Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and India.
Dr. Malcolm’s practice has typically focused on community or regional cancer programs that provide the full spectrum of medical oncology and malignant hematology services.
